Meet Molly and Dustin Wallis: “Halfway Is Not in Our Vocabulary.”

Family is central to Molly and Dustin, and their company name reflects this fact. Armodus (pronounced Are-moe-dus) is the unique blend of founders’ names along with their daughter’s and son’s.

The husband and wife team has been part of Mondamin, Iowa, and the surrounding communities their entire lives. Each brings to Armodus their particular strengths: construction and engineering for Dustin, and business for Molly.

In their downtime, Dustin and Molly enjoy spending time with their two children, other family, and friends. They also enjoy being outdoors, traveling, and being involved in their community’s youth sports programs.

DUSTIN

Dustin worked in the construction industry from his early teens up until earning his bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from Iowa State University. Since 2009, he has worked in the engineering services industry, obtaining his professional engineering license in 2013 and working as a design engineer for a consulting firm in Omaha, Nebraska, and spending seven years as a county engineer in Iowa. Dustin leads business development and project management at Armodus.

MOLLY

Molly worked in the financial services industry while earning her bachelor’s degree in business management and human resource management from the University of Nebraska-Omaha and continued to work in this field after graduation. In 2012 she took a position as a key member of the human resources team at a manufacturing company in Omaha, Nebraska, until the launch of Armodus. Molly leads business operations and strategy at Armodus.

Small Town Values. Big Growth Goals.

Dustin and Molly founded Armodus as a side hustle in 2017 and grew the company into land-clearing services when they saw an opportunity for farmers and growers to improve their properties in an innovative and efficient way. Armodus has expanded beyond its original scope to include site development, general contracting, contract administration, and hauling.
